HOW REFLEXOLOGY CAN REDUCE STRESS
Having regular reflexology treatments can be an effective way to reduce stress and anxiety levels, promoting feelings of relaxation and calmness. During my reflexology treatments I use special reflexology massage techniques on the feet or hands to unblock nerve endings, rebalance the lymphatic and endocrine system and boost circulation. This induces a state of calm throughout my client’s body and mind, leaving them feeling less stressed and anxious. Which then enables them to be able to deal with stressful situations in a better light and solve problems effectively in their lives, reducing stress and having a more calm and positive mind set.

RAINBOW FOOD HELPS REDUCE STRESS
I also encourage my clients to have a balance diet alongside their reflexology appointments to get the full benefit from their treatments. Consuming plant based foods full of colour is important for a healthy body, supporting brain function and mood regulation. It also does wonders for your well-being.
Rainbow Food
If your bowl, plate or lunch box is full of fresh colourful food then you are nourishing your body with the vitamins and minerals it needs to boost energy, be motivated, feel happy, strengthen your immune system, build healthy skin and help achieve positivity in your life. The more vibrant in colour your plate of food is, the more richness in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and fibre they will fuel your body with.
Orange and yellow
Sweet potatoes and carrots contain beta-carotene and vitamin C, which support brain function and strengthen your immune system.
Purple
Berries, grapes and plums contain anthocyanins that support your nervous system and are a natural anti-inflammatory. They are also an antioxidant that protects against oxidative stress.
Green
Leafy greens and broccoli are rich in foliate, which can help balance moods and brain functioning.
Blue
Blueberries are a natural antioxidant and bursting with nutrients. They can help lower blood pressure, help prevent heart disease and improve memory.
Yellow
Pineapple and bananas are extremely rich in vitamins such as vitamin C, A and B1. They are high in antioxidant values and helps protect our immune system, helps our body produce new cell and keeps our teeth and bones strong.

Therefore, including healthy rainbow plant based food in your diet, alongside regular reflexology treatments, can help you deal with stressful times in your life more effectively. This results in less stress to your body, health and well-being.
